Riga is the largest city of the Baltic states. Throughout its existence it was under the occupation of Poles, Swedes, Russian, Germans and Soviets.
At the train station in Riga time tables are written in four languages. The Russian language is the second language spoken language in the country.

I’ve found the wool knitting shop in town.

Overall this city reminds me of Tallinn a bit.
