Taiji village is situated on a bend of the river in Yunnan, between Nuodeng City and Nuodeng village, famous for its ham and Bai minority. Possessing a unique charm, with simple residential buildings and rich cultural heritage, this place has a long history since the Tang dynasty, almost 1300 years ago. Taiji stands for “Taijitu” symbol very much like the Yin and Yang shape, mimics the form of the winding river around the village.
